We get up to lots of exciting things at Stepping Stones. If you want to keep up with our latest activities you can follow us through the following social media channels!
Join us for our next open day on Tuesday 11th December 2018 from 10am-11.30am. You can read more detail here:
In July 2018 we had a camping day at the pre-school! We invited a local scout leader (thank you Bryn!) who helped organise the day and taught the children about camping and the outdoors.
The children spent time in the tent have fun and playing – getting in and out of the sleeping bags (quite a warm experience on the day!), we toasted marshmallows (with lots of good listening about keeping safe near a fire); we collected and chopped wood. We also had our snack-time outside on the camp table, as well as our lunch. We played games on the field and generally had an amazing time outdoors.
Our next open day is on Saturday the 29th September from 10.00am to 12.00pm.
We are a charity run Pre-School and one of the few Pre-Schools left that do not charge a top-up fee!
If you’re looking for a Pre-School place in the near future, please come and visit us to learn why our families love Stepping Stones.
We have free parking on-site and you can find us here.
We just wanted to say a BIG BIG THANK YOU to all of you that were able to make our opening on Saturday. We hope you enjoyed the morning, it was super to see so many families, thank you for your amazing support. It is much appreciated.
Of course, we couldn’t have made the morning a success without the truly amazing staff & volunteers that worked so hard in the run up to the opening and on the day itself. Thank you.
We’d also like to say a huge thank you to the following people who supported us on the day.
Deputy Mayor & Long Ditton Councillor Mrs Shweta Kapadia who cut the ribbon and Consort Mr Ramesh Kapadia who joined us to officially open the setting.
Betty & Philip from Party Bounce who donated the fantastic bouncy castle.
Rebecca English from Jo Jingles who came and provided a super session during the morning.
Mark Lambert from Long Ditton Cricket Club who came and showcased the All Stars cricket for youngsters in the area.
Check out our new flyer!
Hopefully you’ll spot this when out and about in Long Ditton. The PDF can be found here: Long Ditton Flyer.pdf
From September 2017 we plan to be operating from Long Ditton Cricket Club, Stokes Field, Betts Way, Long Ditton KT6 5HT. The indoor space is huge with lots of natural light and offers easy free flow to an outdoor area which is plenty big enough for all our equipment. We also have access to the field and nearby forest for added adventure. There is also unrestricted parking available for anyone who would need to drive.
The new setting is a short drive from our current location.
Please note that whilst Google Maps shows the access via Surbiton Hockey Club, the actual access is via Betts Way (see below).
Access to Long Ditton Cricket Club is via Betts Way.
